11.7.2020 — When making your plans for the summer, be sure to include Prague Planetarium on your schedule. You will be able to enjoy new shows and see the stars, as well as virtually visit the surface of Venus, among other places. Prague Planetarium is one of the largest planetariums in the world, and the only one of its kind in the Czech Republic. The main hall, Cosmorama, is 23.5 metres wide and its dome reaches a height of 15 metres, and it seats 210 spectators.

7.8.2019 — The International festival Letní Letná will bring the magical world of new circus in its various forms to Prague for the sixteenth time. The festival will take place from the 14th of August to the 1st of September.

18.12.2018 — Until next March, an exhibition will take place on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Postal Museum, where the postage stamps from 1918 - 2018 will be presented. Visitors will also see the unveiled and less known proposals.

4.12.2019 — From the 5th to the 8th of December, Lucerna and Ponrepo cinemas in Prague will offer audiences a large selection of Asian action films full of martial arts during the new annual Filmasia festival. The festival is entering its fifteenth season this year. It has brought great Asian films to Prague since 2005.

19.1.2019 — Podkarpatská Rus (Carpathian Ruthenia), an exhibition of photos by Bohumil Vavrouška, will be open in the Josef Sudek Gallery, a branch of the Prague Museum of Decorative Arts, until 27th January 2019.

4.12.2012 — Praha chce plnohodnotně využívat pražských náplavek. V nejbližší době připravuje aktivní správu nábřeží, následovat bude celková revitalizace této unikátní části hlavního města. Nová desetičlenná komise složená z politiků a z odborníků bude projednávat, koordinovat a doporučovat Radě konkrétní postupy.

20.6.2019 — Magistrát hlavního města Prahy uspěl v další dražbě, tentokrát pozemků v katastrálním území Žižkov. Jedná se o zajímavé pozemky, které se nacházejí v zastavěné části města a které tvoří jednotný funkční celek s přístupem z veřejné komunikace. Vzhledem k tomu, že získání pozemků ve vnitřní části Prahy do vlastnictví hl. m. Prahy je v dnešní době velmi problematické, a to nejen cenou, ale i nabídkou, je to jeden z dalších úspěchů odboru hospodaření s majetkem Magistrátu hl. m. Prahy.

28.8.2024 — Největší přehlídka sportovních aktivit pro děti – Festival Sporťáček – se v Praze uskuteční v sobotu 7. září 2024 v areálu holešovického Výstaviště od 10:00 do 17:00 hodin.
