23.11.2005 — Rozpočet pro rok 2006 je v základních rysech hotov, prošel diskusí rady a směřuje do výborů zastupitelstva. V čem je tedy nový? Probíhající a připravované strategické investice města - městský okruh v severozápadním sektoru, čistírna odpadních vod, pokračování trasy C pražského metra anebo další výstavba a dokončení protipovodňových opatření v roce 2006 - chceme zajistit bez toho, že by město muselo zapojovat cizí zdroje do svého rozpočtu.

23.8.2005 — Od 1. října 2005 začne platit v Praze upravený tržní řád, kterým město reaguje na požadavky, jež zazněly při projednávání zatím poslední novely řádu v dubnu letošního roku. Jde především o omezení tržních míst a tržišť v Pražské památkové rezervaci a v centrální části metropole.

24.5.2019 — From the 26th of May to the 1st of June, rhythmic Roma music will sound throughout Prague as the 21st annual Romani festival, Khamoro, takes place. Khamoro ('sun' in the Roma language) is the biggest and the most famous professional Roma festival in the world. It has been held in Prague since 1999.

29.4.2019 — On the 30th of April 2019, the 33rd annual festival 'Mezinárodní týdny tance' (International Dance Weeks) will culminate in the Hybernia Theatre. For the first time, artists from all three Czech National Theatres will meet on one stage!

16.3.2019 — Prague is preparing for greater St. Patrick's Day celebrations than ever before. The main attraction will be the festive parade on Sunday the 17th of March, which begins and ends in Campus Hybernská, where the other main celebrations will be held. According to the legend, Saint Patrick, the Patron Saint of Ireland, converted the people of Ireland to Christianity in the fifth century.

26.7.2019 — New Town Hall (Novoměstská radnice) and the Municipal District Prague 2 have prepared an interesting programme for the anniversary of the First Defenestration of Prague, from the 27th to the 31st of July. You can take part in guided tours, an open-air cinema in the New Town Hall courtyard and other events in Charles Square (Karlovo náměstí).
