24.5.2019 — From the 26th of May to the 1st of June, rhythmic Roma music will sound throughout Prague as the 21st annual Romani festival, Khamoro, takes place. Khamoro ('sun' in the Roma language) is the biggest and the most famous professional Roma festival in the world. It has been held in Prague since 1999.

29.4.2019 — On the 30th of April 2019, the 33rd annual festival 'Mezinárodní týdny tance' (International Dance Weeks) will culminate in the Hybernia Theatre. For the first time, artists from all three Czech National Theatres will meet on one stage!

16.3.2019 — Prague is preparing for greater St. Patrick's Day celebrations than ever before. The main attraction will be the festive parade on Sunday the 17th of March, which begins and ends in Campus Hybernská, where the other main celebrations will be held. According to the legend, Saint Patrick, the Patron Saint of Ireland, converted the people of Ireland to Christianity in the fifth century.

26.7.2019 — New Town Hall (Novoměstská radnice) and the Municipal District Prague 2 have prepared an interesting programme for the anniversary of the First Defenestration of Prague, from the 27th to the 31st of July. You can take part in guided tours, an open-air cinema in the New Town Hall courtyard and other events in Charles Square (Karlovo náměstí).

9.2.2010 — O konkrétních formách další humanitární pomoci hlavního města Prahy Republice Haiti postižené živelnou katastrofou jednala dnes městská rada. Praha Haiti pomůže částkou přesahující třicet miliónů korun. O rozdělení 10 miliónů korun mezi tři humanitární organizace už rozhodlo zastupitelstvo hl. m. Prahy, jak rozdělit dalších dvacet miliónů korun dnes navrhla městská rada. Doporučí zastupitelstvu peníze rozdělit pěti humanitárním organizacím.

31.7.2008 — Na základě žádosti městských částí Praha 1, Praha 2 a Praha 5 se od 1.8.2008 zřizují nové lodní linky pro lepší spojení pražských ostrovů v centrální části města. Linky P4 a P5 jsou zahrnuty do systému Pražské integrované dopravy. Základní jízdné je 26 Kč, uznávány jsou také předplatní jízdenky PID. Stejně jako na ostatních přívozech nelze užít nepřestupní jízdenky ani SMS jízdenky. Jízdní kola a kočárky jsou přepravovány zdarma.
