10.8.2020 — The 7th annual barrel-organ music festival, 'Flašinet žije', will take place in the historic heart of Prague on the 11th of August. Street artists from the Czech Republic and Slovakia will bring music and energy to three venues in the city centre. The barrel-organ music festival will commence at 10am with a concert in the church of St. Nicholas in the Old Town square. The beautiful baroque church will witness a barrel-organ performance of popular classical music pieces.

30.8.2017 — This year’s grape harvest will take place In the Royal Garden of the Prague Castle, on the weekend of September 16th and 17th, 2017. This traditional event is this year associated with the famous Slovenian architect Josip Plečnik whom in the 1920s and 30s modified the Prague Castle. This year we mark the 145th anniversary of his birth and 60th anniversary of his death.

18.6.2019 — On the 19th of June, Czech Philharmonic's open-air concert will take place in the breath-taking atmosphere of Prague's Hradčanské Square. The concert is one of the most attractive events of the music season.

28.1.2014 — 23. ledna byla zahájena výstava Czech Grand Design: Nominace 2013, která bude v Národním technickém muzeu k vidění až do konce března. U příležitosti zahájení výstavy Akademie designu ČR vyhlásila finalisty cen, ze kterých pak 9. března ve Stavovském divadle vzejdou vítězové.

5.8.2019 — The international floorball tournament Czech Open 2019 will take place in thirteen halls across Prague from the 8th to the 11th of August. The tournament is not only for elite world teams, but also for amateur and junior teams. The 28th international floorball tournament is considered one of the largest and most prestigious in the world. The biggest stars regularly come to Prague for this event.

13.6.2016 — Měsíc plný fotbalu a léta. Tak by se dal charakterizovat projekt, který pro fanoušky připravila Fotbalová asociace České republiky a generální partner Hyundai Motor Czech za dvoumilionové podpory hlavního města Prahy. V areálu Žlutých lázní je jediný oficiální prostor s možností sledování většiny utkání EURO 2016. 14.1.2019 — Until the end of February, you can visit an exhibition about the history of 'Czecho-Slovakian' music in Popmuseum, a museum and archive of popular music. The country of Czechoslovakia existed under different names from the Declaration of Independence on the 28th October 1918 to its peaceful dissolution on the 1st of January 1993. However, the music scenes of the two countries stayed closely linked even after the common republic ceased to exist and that is why the exhibition rightly celebrates the hundred years of this 'musical relationship' of Czech and Slovaks. A permanent exhibition is located in the Cultural Centre Kaštan in Břevnov, featuring musical instruments, particularly electric guitars of Czechoslovak production and selected keyboard instruments used in former Czechoslovakia. Furthermore, there is an archive of sheet music and recordings that is available to researchers.

16.2.2019 — On the 23rd of February 2019, the Czech Republic Guides Association will offer free guided tours to celebrate the International Tourist Guide Day. The International Tourist Guide Day is held annually on the 21st of February since 1985. Because the 21st is a Thursday, tour guides in most places decided to give free guided tours on Friday the 22nd or Saturday the 23rd of February. The event will take place throughout the Czech Republic. In Prague, tourists will have a choice between two guided tours.

11.6.2019 — From the 12th to the 14th of June, the first English language theatre festival FEST-END (Festival of English-Speaking Drama) will take place in Švanda Theatre in Prague.

7.6.2011 — Výstavní síň Mánes poskytla prostory pro desátý ročník veletrhu současného umění Art Prague, kterou včera zahájil pražský primátor Bohuslav Svoboda. V rámci vernisáže výstavy byla udělena cena UniCredit Bank Prague Photo Young Award umělci do 30 let, kterým se stal Jan Vytiska.

30.9.2010 — V rámci rekonstrukce, která proběhla na ÚMČ Praha 4 a vyžádala si investici 2,8 miliónu korun, je od dubna 2008 i pracoviště ověřování a Czech POINT na radnici Prahy 4, bezbariérové. Prostory jsou přístupné přímo z Táborské ulice. Občané zde naleznou pokladnu úřadu, pracoviště ověřování podpisů a listin a především stále využívanější Czech POINT.

29.4.2019 — On the 30th of April 2019, the 33rd annual festival 'Mezinárodní týdny tance' (International Dance Weeks) will culminate in the Hybernia Theatre. For the first time, artists from all three Czech National Theatres will meet on one stage!

23.10.2020 — Prague Symphony Orchestra (FOK) will perform Smetana's 'Má vlast' ('My Country') in Obecní dům (Municipal House) for Independent Czechoslovak State Day on the 28th of October. There will be no audience, but the concert will be streamed via the Prague Symphony Orchestra's YouTube channel so it can be seen live all over the world.

7.8.2019 — The International festival Letní Letná will bring the magical world of new circus in its various forms to Prague for the sixteenth time. The festival will take place from the 14th of August to the 1st of September.

7.5.2018 — In 2018, Prague Spring will offer about 50 concerts that will excite lovers of the big orchestral sound, admirers of chamber music, contemporary music fans, and those who enjoy following the latest trends in the informed interpretation of the music of past eras. The festival takes place from 12 May to 3 June.
