24.3.2015 — Praha bude mít díky vítězství v mezinárodní soutěži možnost spolupracovat s nejvýznamnějšími hráči v oblasti městských inovací. Projekt Morgenstadt: City Lab, na kterém spolupracuje Institut plánování a rozvoje hl. m. Prahy (IPR) s Magistrátem hl. m. Prahy (MHMP), napomůže hlavnímu městu stát se technologicky vyspělým a inovativním centrem. Dlouhodobý projekt oficiálně odstartuje středeční konference v Praze.

30.11.2019 — Actions to help homeless people survive the freezing weather are starting to take place in Prague this winter. Unlike in previous years, the city is allowing people with dogs to stay warm at night, whereas they were previously refused in dormitories. There are also more facilities available for those with health issues. The municipal police are taking part in the winter measures along with the social services.

7.4.2020 — A nationwide project to support theatres, concert halls, clubs and artists has been launched. 'NIC' tickets have been on sale since the 1st of April. 'Nic' means 'nothing' in Czech and that is the aim of this project - as cultural events cannot take place, cultural institutions and artists need your support. According to Hana Třeštíková, Prague City Councillor for Culture, Czech people are inventive, so instead of simply asking for donations, they came up with a plan to sell tickets for 'non-existing' cultural events, which will (not) take place on the 1st of May.

16.9.2020 — An interesting exhibition focusing on Prague's covered passages started on Monday, the 14th of September. This exhibition of photographs allows you to learn more about the city of Prague in detail.

18.8.2020 — "In April, together with GoOut, we sold tickets to non-existent shows in order to help to keep our culture alive. And because the time when almost NOTHING cultural happened is, hopefully, behind us, now Prague can experience SOMETHING in the last weekend of September. As an expression of gratitude to supporters and fans, cultural organisations all over Prague are preparing special events and programmes. It will be a celebration of the return and revival of culture and I look forward to seeing theatres and clubs full of fans soon," Hana Třeštíková, Prague Councillor for Culture and Tourism, said.

11.9.2020 — Every year, usually in early autumn, the doors of the most interesting monuments, buildings and other spaces of interest, many of which are normally inaccessible, open to the public as part of the European Heritage Days. Between the 12th and the 20th of September, visitors can see most of them for free.

2.9.2019 — Until the 3rd of November, an exhibition of Prague City Gallery 'Aleš Hnízdil, Jiří Kačer - Sculptures and Objects' is taking place in Troja Château in Prague 7. Both artists' work is exhibited inside the chateau and in the Baroque garden.

4.2.2019 — At the beginning of February, construction work will commence on the bridge in Bubenská street, near the Vltavská metro station. The investor, Prague Technical Road Administration (Technická správa komunikací hl. m. Prahy, a.s.), expects the work to take approximately one month. Some traffic restrictions will be in place.

8.12.2023 — V reakci na tvrzení generálního manažera I. ČLTK Vladislava Šavrdy uvádí hlavní město na pravou míru informace o revitalizaci Štvanice. Žádné masivní rušení kurtů nebo likvidaci tenisového klubu I. ČLTK Praha, jak se objevilo v několika článcích (například na idnes.cz, isport.cz nebo sport.cz), hlavní město neplánuje.
